As a Balanced Flue appliance, the EC5 offers versatile installation options for homes without a chimney or flue. When installed against an external wall, the Rear Exit kit vents the fumes horizontally through the wall to an external terminal, similar to a combi boiler.
For those preferring a vertical installation, the 'Top Exit Up & Out' Balanced Flue Kit is available in painted anthracite or stainless steel finishes. This kit attaches to the top of the stove, runs vertically to a 90º bend, and then vents horizontally through the wall to an external terminal.
If your home has a conventional brick chimney, you can still install the Ellesmere EC5 Gas Stove using the 'Chimney Renovation Kit.' This option allows for installation into the chimney when combined with a flexible flue liner (not supplied).
