For installations against an external wall, the Rear Exit kit attaches to the back of the stove, venting fumes horizontally through the wall to an external terminal, similar to a combi boiler. Alternatively, the 'Top Exit Up & Out' Balanced Flue Kit, available in painted anthracite or stainless steel finishes, attaches to the top of the stove, runs vertically to a 90º bend, and vents horizontally through the wall to an external terminal.
For homes with a conventional brick chimney, the Ellesmere EC5W can still be installed using the 'Chimney Renovation Kit.' This option allows for fitting into the chimney when combined with a flexible flue liner (not supplied).
