Once the Firenza Plancha BBQ Grill has been lit, it will take between 25 to 45 minutes, depending on the weather conditions and the temperature outside, for the cooking plate to reach around 300˚C on the inner edge and around 200˚C on the outer edge.
You can use a variety of wood types in your Firenza, but kiln-dried beech produces the best results. It burns down to a mass of embers that are easily spread around, and provide heat for an extended period. Ash wood has similar qualities. You can also use charcoal as fuel for your Firenza. However, charcoal might not reach the same temperatures as firewood.
Made from Nero black powder-coated steel. Its plinth base comes in either Nero black powder-coated steel or Corten steel depending on model. These materials are extremely resistant to corrosion.
With the grill and solid oak ring removed, and appropriate steps having been taken to protect the plancha plate, the Firenza can be left outdoors for extensive periods without weathering.

All-Weather Protection
Protect your plancha plate from the elements with ease with one of the optional rainproof covers. Dragonfly recommend storing both the solid oak rings and grill attachments indoors when not in use. However, Large Wooden Ring Covers are also available, which accommodate the rings and are suitable for shorter periods and moderate climates.

Due to the size/weight of this product, it will be delivered on a pallet. Pallet deliveries will be brought to your front door (subject to access) and you will need to arrange adequate means to take your order into your home. Under normal circumstances this may take 2 people. You will be contacted prior to despatch to arrange a suitable delivery day. A signature will be required on all deliveries.
